Opening Ceremony

In the ceremony a chariot with an elephant was decorated with the photo from His Majesty King and Queen as well as a photo from Maha Guru. A parade of more than 500 Budokai-do students followed behind the elephant as well as more than 1500 friends and family from the students and supporters. They tour around from Bal Kumari to Krishna Mandir, Mangal Bazar, Durbar Square in Patan. The head organiser of this two-days event was Everest Budokai-do with branch chief Raj Kumar Shrestha, helped by Ujjal Krishna Shrestha.
